Baked Egg & Cheese Boat

Hi friends,

Daughter has started her internship today and obviously her only request....interesting food for lunch and snack !! 

So on her first day, I made a baked egg and cheese boat for snack. Very interesting and tasty snack...and I am sure all kids and youngsters would love it ; as its compact to eat and go. 

Ingredients: 

1 hot dog bun

1 egg

1/2  onion chopped

1/2 tomato chopped 

1 chili chopped

1/4 cup cheese grated

coriander leaves chopped

salt and pepper to taste

Method: 

Scoop out the center of the hotdog bun in such a way that the bottom of the bun is intact. It should look like a boat. 

Next beat the egg with salt and pepper. Saute the onions, tomatoes and chili in a pan with very little oil. Once slightly cool. add the vegetables and cheese to the beaten egg. Place the bun on an oven proof tray. Pour the egg mixture into the bun and bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes, till golden brown. 

Serve warm with sauce .
